Head Instructor
Miss Melissa
We asked Miss Melissa:
What is your favorite moment working with a student at House of Dragons Taekwondo?
My favorite moment at House of Dragons is when a student breaks a wooden board during their belt test. After hours of practice in class, it all leads to one short moment, where that brave student has to trust that their training will pay off. Time seems to both freeze and fly as they hit the board and it snaps in pieces. There is the smallest second of disbelief followed by pure joy. It’s an incredible moment to have a small part in.

Mr. Derek
We asked Mr Derek:
What is your favorite moment working with a student at House of Dragons Taekwondo?
My best times at House of Dragons are by far whenever a student learns a new technique and they enjoy doing it. Take breaking a board with a new kick as an example, you can’t fake the reaction when they do it.
